AviNation Announced October Schedule for Outreach Initiative, ‘AviNation American Dream Tour’

A AviNation has announced its October schedule for the American Dream Tour. Three Southern California high schools and the STEM Expo at the Aerospace Valley Air Show at Edwards Air Force Base have been picked for the tour's stops for this month’s tour.

With a focus on underserved, underprivileged, and at-risk communities, the American Dream Tour brings aviation-based motivational speakers and activities to all young people. Its primary goal is to inform and inspire them about career opportunities in aerospace.

The tour will stop at several high schools in the Southern California region from October 11 through 13, including Palmdale High School Engineering Academy, Kern Career & Technical Education Centre in Bakersfield, and Santa Monica High School.

At the STEM Expo at Edwards Air Force Base, AviNation has a booth. Only students may attend the closed event on Friday, October 14. The public can visit the Aerospace Valley Airshow celebrating the 75th anniversary of Edwards Air Force Base on October 15 and 16.

Everyone is welcome to drop by Booth #19 in Hangar 1600 to share an inspirational story, test their piloting prowess on a flight simulator, and pick up a copy of the most recent issue of AviNation Magazine.

Addressing the media, Jacob Peed, CEO and Founder of AviNation, explained the goal of the tour as follows: "Young people will receive a special and memorable experience from us that will encourage them to pursue a career in aerospace. The tour's goal is to give young people the confidence they need to pursue these careers. Among the most in-demand and well-paid professionals in the aviation sector are pilots and A&P mechanics.
