EDU Danmark Wins Tender to Operate IELTS in Norway
T The British Council, IDP, and Cambridge Assessment held a tender to select the new operator after Folkeuniversitetet's contract to conduct IELTS exams in Norway came to an end in early 2022. According to recent rumours, EDU Danmark was awarded the contract in the summer of 2022.
This is the first time the company has conducted testing in Norway. Palle Steen Jensen, founder of EDU Danmark, exclaimed publicly, "We've been in Danish bounds till now with recruitment and language testing." Moving the examinations to Norway will be an "interesting new challenge," he added.
Despite running IELTS tests, the Danish agency has no intentions to begin student recruitment in Norway, according to a corporate source.

According to company insiders, ED Danmark will continue to function with the same employees as Folkeuniversitetet and will begin carefully, with four testing sessions per month.
