India Launches New Education Website EducationINdia

I In a move aimed at promoting Indian education to the world, the All India Council for Technical Education has launched a new portal named EducationINdia. Through the portal, foreign students planning on studying in India can avail information on course programs, scholarships, visa assistance, and other relevant data.

A source from EducationINdia said that international students who graduate from Indian universities “tend to be high achieving professionals when they return to their prospective home countries. This makes India an attractive prospect for international students.”

The newly launched website EducationINdia, makes it easy for students to browse course catalogues without registering. This move has made it easy to gather information prior to choosing a course or degree. The website contains up-to-date information of universities and educational institutions, including the latest results from All India Survey of Higher Education. Through the portal, universities and institutions can update information about their facilities and courses to students.

In phase two, which is planned for release soon, institutions planning on admitting international students will be involved. The plan is to allow students to register for courses via a secured verification process.

According to EducationINdia, diversity, global awareness and interconnectedness are key assets for India as an international study destination. This is what makes India an attractive option for international students. Through the portal, EducationINdia plans to offer students an all-in-one experience.
