Indian Diplomat: Indian Students Leaving Ukraine Allowed in Russian Varsities
U Ukrainian students have had a hard time juggling life and education. Many of those are Indian students who went to the war-torn nation to study. However, there is some good news for Indian students in Ukraine. According to Ratheesh C Nair, the Honorary Consul of the Russian Federation and Director of the Russian House in Thiruvananthapuram, it is highly possible that Indian students would be accepted in Russian varsities.
Indian students who had to abandon their studies due to the Russia-Ukraine conflict will be admitted to Russian universities without losing their previous academic years, said Roman Babushkin, Deputy Chief of Mission at the Russian Embassy in New Delhi, on Sunday.

Babushkin stated that Indian students in Ukraine would be admitted to Russian universities and would be able to resume their respective courses where they left off without having to repeat previous years of study. He further stated that in cases where students had scholarships, it was possible that they would be accepted at Russian universities.
While speaking to the media Mr Babushkin, said “Students in Kerala can get in touch with the Russian House here with their marksheets and other academic records and the same would be forwarded to the Russian universities which would get in touch with the students and their parents.”
