In collaboration with Stanford Bio-X, the Foundation launched the Interdisciplinary Postdoctoral Fellowship Programme in 2015. (USA). The positive experience has led to the Program's expansion and the Foundation's decision to establish collaboration agreements with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT, USA), the University of Oxford (UK), and the Weizmann Institute of Science (Israel), in addition to Stanford Bio-X.
The Program aims to help talented researchers advance their professional and personal development by providing three years of international experience and networking in a world-class research community. In addition to promoting the individual researcher's career, the Programme facilitates the researcher's reintegration into the Danish research environment by supporting the fourth and final year of the project at their affiliated university in Denmark, bringing back innovation, networks, and experience.
Furthermore, the Program encourages the establishment of human bridges and valuable relationships between Danish and international universities. The new expansion builds on the Program's previous success.
