Quantum Machines to Partner with Leading Institutions on The EuRyQa Project
T The European Commission recently announced the launch of the European Infrastructure for Rydberg Quantum Computing (EuRyQa) project, which aims to establish Rydberg quantum processors as a leading platform for scalable quantum computing in Europe.
The highly competitive Horizon Europe programme with a budget of nearly €5 million over the next three years, is supporting EuRyQa, which consists of eleven partners from seven countries. One of those 11 partners is Quantum Machines. The company has recently announced its participation in the EuRyQa project.
Quantum Machines (QM) has established itself as the leading provider of control and operation systems — the quantum computer's actual "brain." The Quantum Orchestration Platform (QOP) of the company consists of the most advanced classical hardware and software for controlling and operating multi-qubit quantum processors.
QM's platform can support any existing Quantum Processing Unit (QPU) architecture and allows users to run even the most difficult quantum algorithms right away.

Prof. Guido Pupillo, coordinator of EuRyQa, confirmed plans to develop a common quantum computing stack for Rydberg atomstolerant quantum computing with Rydberg qubits. "We will provide a common quantum computing stack for Rydberg atoms, a federated cloud service, concrete computational problem solutions, and key technology for fault-tolerant quantum computing with Rydberg qubits," he said.
