To Support Global Teaching Initiatives, DetectedX to Provide Free Access to Radiology Across Borders
R Radiology Across Borders (RAB) will now have free access to DetectedX's Radiology Online Learning Centre to support the organization's educational endeavours. News reports say that clinicians from developing nations who are enrolled in RAB programmes, specifically the International Certificate of Radiology Fundamentals, will have access to DetectedX's on-demand web-based educational platform (ICRF).
With the help of DetectedX, Radiology Across Borders will be able to train and educate radiologists, doctors, and medical imaging professionals to ensure that healthcare workers have the information and training required to save their patients' lives.
…the International Certificate in Radiology Fundamentals is a one-year online course that provides high-quality instruction to clinicians in developing countries so they can improve the quality of the imaging service they provide to their patients and communities…
DetectedX is not only lending support to RAB's global initiative but also taking part in the Global IMPACT conference schedule. On October 22, 2022, speakers from RAB, the Society of Breast Imaging, University of British Columbia, and DetectedX will participate in the programme on Improving Mammographic Proficiency and Clinical Technique.
This isn't the first time DetectedX took part in a similar conference, the business also took part in a conference in August that featured medical professionals from all over the world.
Speaking to the media, RAB's administrator of logistics Alisa Cowie, said, "The International Certificate in Radiology Fundamentals is a one-year online course that provides high-quality instruction to clinicians in developing countries so they can improve the quality of the imaging service they provide to their patients and communities. Radiology Across Borders is pleased that DetectedX has partnered with us to provide free access to their online radiology education tool for students of our International Certificate in Radiology Fundamentals.
The DetectedX self-assessment modules in breast and chest imaging will be an invaluable addition to their ICRF studies because ICRF students have limited access to world-class continuing professional development but are highly motivated to develop their skills."
