Linewize Webinar: Supporting Students' Mental Health in Education System

L Linewize, a division of Family Zone (ASX: FZO), an emerging education technology company, has announced that it will be organising a free webinar in line with Mental Health Awareness Month. The webinar, titled "Zero Invisible Students: Helping Students Who Don't Speak Up," aims to shed light on the state of students' mental health in the United States and how advanced technology can assist school staff in identifying and supporting students facing mental health challenges, including those who remain silent.

The webinar is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, May 31 at 11 a.m. PT, conducted via Zoom. Registration for the event is now open. The webinar coincides with the recent launch of Linewize Pulse, a ground-breaking platform that provides real-time insights into individuals' well-being and overall school health. Through quick and anonymous 60-second weekly check-ins, schools gain valuable information on students' mental health and collect trend-level data.

…by harnessing the power of advanced technology, educators and school staff can proactively identify and support students who may not speak up about their struggles…

Besides, Linewize Monitor, another innovative tool, helps school partners identify at-risk students who may be struggling silently and may otherwise go unnoticed. The webinar will feature prominent speakers, including Teodora Pavkovic, Director of Global Research and Advocacy at Linewize, Natalie Sullivan, Product Success Specialist at Linewize, and Deirdra Brasch, Ed. D., Director of Information Services at Ivy Academia.

Teodora Pavkovic emphasised the significance of raising awareness about students' declining mental health and well-being during Mental Health Awareness Month. Pavkovic stated, "Amidst this ongoing crisis, it's critical that district leaders and educators are equipped with the tools and information they need to accurately pinpoint and engage with children and teenagers who need help, including ones who often fall under the radar."

During the webinar, Pavkovic, Sullivan, and Brasch will discuss how technology can facilitate improved communication between school staff and students. Directors of student services, mental health professionals, IT directors, principals, and other stakeholders will gain insights into district-wide well-being issues and, most importantly, learn how to effectively assist students in need.

The upcoming Linewize webinar serves as an important platform to address the pressing issue of students' mental health challenges within the U.S. education system. By harnessing the power of advanced technology, educators and school staff can proactively identify and support students who may not speak up about their struggles.

This event is a timely opportunity for district leaders and educators to equip themselves with the necessary tools and knowledge to create a healthier and more supportive learning environment for all students. Register now for the webinar to contribute to this crucial conversation.
