Linkstory Announces the Launch of Online College Admissions Mentoring Services

T The obscurity grows as subjective admissions factors (essays and extracurriculars) gain importance, making it harder for students to figure out their applications to their dream schools. Linkstory, an Ed-tech startup, has soft-launched an online mentoring service to help students with admissions challenges.

The company's mentoring service for online college admissions aims to level the playing field in the intimidating and perplexing college admissions process.

By offering competitive ($50/session) mentoring services which concentrate on subjective factors, Linkstory hopes to increase transparency in the admissions market. According to a company source, the primary goal is to increase accessibility and focus on the real issue, which is the murky criteria for college admissions.

…the current college admissions trend is shifting more and more toward these students' personalities, and we hope to bring out the best in them by becoming their travel companion…

The educational technology start-up will provide mentoring services such as one-on-one mentoring for general consulting, interviews, and resume proofreading. These services can be accessed remotely and within the platform, making the process simple for students globally.

The company also intends to launch an AI-based essay analysis tool by the end of 2022 to assist students in improving their college essays. Thousands of accepted student essays from top universities back up this revolutionary algorithm.

According to Kenny Youn, the founder of Linkstory, "There is a huge potential for the 15 million high school students who are aiming for their next step after high school."

"The current college admissions trend is shifting more and more toward these students' personalities, and we hope to bring out the best in them by becoming their travel companion. Youn says again, "It doesn't have to stop at high school. We have career advisors who will assist these students with their job applications and interviews as they enter the job market after graduating from college."

Recent research by Linkstory revealed that due to a lack of high school online college admissions guidance, counsellors, U.S. students and parents spend an estimated $6,000 annually on college consulting. The average cost of a mentoring session on Linkstory, on the other hand, is significantly lower at around $50, which is less than half the costs charged by other services.
