University of Birmingham Dubai Launches Scholarships for Indian Students

S Scholarships for Indian students who are residents of and attend school in India have been announced by the University of Birmingham Dubai. Scholarship application forms are available on the official website, birmingham.ac.uk/dubai, for interested students.

The value of the scholarship will be communicated to the student after they have submitted their application and, if they are extended an offer by the university, based on expected grades or upon fulfilling the terms of the offer, according to university sources who spoke with the media. Candidates are eligible to receive up to 40% of their tuition as a prize, the source said.

How to Apply for Scholarships for Indian Students:

Step 1: Go to birmingham.ac.uk/dubai, the website's official page.
Step 2: On the home page, scroll down and select "Dubai scholarships."
Step 3: A new page will be opened for you. Scroll to the bottom and select "apply now."
Step 4: Next, select the new course link and press the "apply now" button.
Step 5: Log in or register, then complete the application form with all the necessary information.
Step 6: Upload all the required paperwork along with your signature and photo.
Step 7: Submit the Application.

The university's administration will notify you via your registered email address once a decision has been made.

Who are Eligible for the University of Birmingham Dubai Scholarships:

A certain level of English language proficiency must be shown by potential applicants, either through an English test like the IELTS, TOEFL, or PTE. The institute might be able to accept alternative or prior credentials as proof. In terms of board exam results, applicants to Birmingham Foundation Academy must have a class 12 higher secondary certificate with an average score of 65% from the ICSE, CBSE, or West Bengal State Board. 70% is the minimum requirement for all other state boards.

Candidates for engineering and physical sciences should have received at least a 65 percent grade in mathematics from the West Bengal State Boards, ICSE, or CBSE. One must have at least a 65 percent grade in biology from the ICSE, CBSE, or West Bengal State Boards in order to apply for a degree in biology.

In order to be considered for a postgraduate degree, a candidate must have either a four-year bachelor's degree (first class or very good upper second class) or a three-year bachelor's degree (first class) from any accredited Indian institution. The university will accept applications from 3- or 5-year LLB holders from prestigious institutions in India who have completed degree programmes lasting three or five years (first class or very good upper second class) for MSc programmes.
