Amity Group: All Set To Establish Harrow International Schools in India and New York
A Amity Education Group announced an agreement with Harrow School, UK, to establish Harrow International Schools in India and New York, US. Amity Group will establish four schools in India and one in New York. The first two, Harrow International School Bengaluru in Devanahalli, Karnataka, and Harrow International School New York in the USA will open in September 2023. Both will be launched as residential and day boarding co-educational schools.

John Batting, Harrow School’s Chairman of Governors also released a statement “We are delighted to be expanding the opportunity for students to access a Harrow education in two new geographies with Amity, a partner with global educational expertise. Harrow International School Bengaluru, situated in a purpose-built 60-acre campus in Devanahalli and enjoying proximity to Bengaluru International Airport, will offer students aged 11 to 18 an education based on the National Curriculum for England and will prepare them for Cambridge International IGCSEs and the International Baccalaureate Diploma. Harrow New York will be located in a stunning 170-acre campus in Oakdale on Long Island, and will develop an innovative, bespoke curriculum to meet the needs of its students. Amity Education Group has ten universities, 26 K-12 schools and 30 other education institutions in India and abroad. Harrow School, founded in 1575 under a Royal Charter by Queen Elizabeth I, is one of the world’s most famous schools, and has Jawahar Lal Nehru, Winston Churchill, Lord Byron, and innumerable Nobel Laureates as its illustrious alumni.
