BCG & Cambridge Judge Business School Partner to Offer Latest Climate Science Courses

I In order to provide cutting-edge courses on climate sciences, the Boston Consulting Group (BCG), Columbia Climate School, and Cambridge Judge Business School recently announced a new partnership. The company's initiatives to educate people on the recent developments in climate science and solutions will include in-depth courses at these prestigious institutions.

A range of topics, from climate science to materials engineering and conservation, will be covered in weeklong intensive courses at each university and online training. By establishing an Asian university in 2023 and enhancing regional opportunities, BCG hopes to reduce the carbon footprint of its training and development programmes.

Hubertus Meinecke, the global leader for climate and sustainability at BCG, thinks Cambridge and Columbia universities can provide the best understanding of the climate crisis from a scientific standpoint, along with the policies and solutions to deal with it.

Professor Christopher Marquis, who holds the Sinyi Chaired Professorship and teaches at Cambridge University's Judge Business School, continues, "In our Climate & Sustainability programme, we combine the best elements of Cambridge and BCG. The Cambridge Judge Business School's expertise in leadership, change, and strategy is incorporated into the curriculum along with contributions from renowned Cambridge scholars in fields like climate science and other disciplines. "We offer the comprehensive disciplinary knowledge necessary to address the most significant climate and sustainability issues of our time."

In addition to its climate science courses, the internal BCG Climate & Sustainability Academy provides 100 hours of internal upskilling opportunities. It was founded and facilitated by its sustainability experts and external climate thought leaders. A BCG source also mentioned that some of the program's elements would soon be accessible to customers of the business.
