Beacon Education Expands its Collaboration with Illinois Institute of Technology
B Beacon Education, China's largest online degree provider, has expanded its collaboration with Illinois Institute of Technology by launching a Chinese-language online MBA programme. The novel degree will be offered by the Stuart School of Business and will help to meet China's rapidly increasing demand for degree-based upskilling and development.
According to media reports, while the Stuart School of Business will provide the MBA degree, Beacon's comprehensive services suite and technology stack will continue to provide fully localised capabilities to Illinois Tech.
We will provide marketing, recruitment, translation, a learning environment, retention, and student support, said a source from Beacon Education. The arrangement allows the university to focus on providing the high-quality content and instruction for which it is known, while Beacon handles the details, the source added.

"Beacon enables us to deliver programmes to new cohorts of learners committed to growing their skills," said Liad Wagman, Interim Dean of the Stuart School of Business.
Michael Wang, CEO of Beacon Education, also weighed in on the partnership, stating that he was already proud of his organisation's achievements with Illinois Tech, an early partner, and assuring everyone that Beacon Education will continue to grow in the future with their partner. He also referred to the recently launched Chinese-language MBA programme as an exciting next step in the collaboration.
