Global Payment Specialist Flywire Acquires Australia-based Cohort Go
I In an effort to boost agent partnership growth and increase its investments in the Asia-Pacific region, software company Flywire, a leader in global payments, acquired WPM in 2021. To boost its presence in Latin America and the UK, the Boston based payment company has acquired Australia-based company Cohort Go.
Through the merger, the Boston-based software company anticipates that Cohort Go's current payment network will strengthen Flywire's international payment network. The software provider anticipates benefiting from Cohort Go's presence in Latin America in addition to APAC, which is a key geographic focus for Flywire.

He further added, "Cohort Go has been prominent in this space, with a network of over 1,000 agent partnerships, including some of the most prestigious student recruitment agencies in the world."
According to Flywire, the Cohort Go deal will speed up Flywire's plan to enable a wider range of financial services aimed at international students.
