Indo-US Collaboration in the Field of Orthopaedic Research and Education

G Gardner Orthopedic, Fort Myers, Florida, and Shalby Advanced Technologies, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, have announced an Indo-US collaboration. Under the partnership, Advanced Orthopedic Centres of Excellence will be opened in 11 multispecialty Shalby Hospitals in India, and Shalby Orthopedic Centres of Excellence in Fort Myers, Florida, and across India.
The announcement was made at the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons (AAOS) Annual Meeting in Chicago, Ill. The partnership will bring educational seminars to medical and engineering professionals; develop short-term travelling fellowships for the students of both countries; and new research and training tools to help bring improvement in the field of orthopedic surgery.
