The challenges faced by schools in developing countries were discussed at length at the summit along with talks of bringing education stakeholders together to tackle the said challenges. At the summit, Alhaji Aminat Atere, the Permanent Secretary of the ministry represented Mr Rahman Abdulraheem. The importance of adequate funding, corporate partnership and coming together of different sectors was also discussed. While discussing sustainable development goals (SDG), Mr Abdulraheem also said that the government will ensure that education is accessible to all.

Other important points discussed were: the role of school systems to make sure that the process of teaching and learning gets thoroughly imparted, for major impact. This would also mean participation of the various stakeholders. It was also made clear that the state government plays (and should) in ensuring accessibility to education, provision of infrastructure and security. It is of great importance that researchers come together and find possible policy strategies to improve the existing state education system.
