Vantage Has Partnered with UNESCO: To Support Education Initiatives in India
V Vantage, according to sources, will contribute its technology knowledge to the State of Education Report for India, 2022: Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Education to support a number of educational projects in India. To achieve its objectives, the organisation will collaborate with UNESCO.
The recently published Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Education Report delves into key issues at the interface of AI and education. One example is AI's ability to empower instructors and improve understanding of the learning process.
Vantage's Chief Strategy and Trading Officer, Marc Despallieres, commented on the collaboration, saying, "Because of Vantage's global reach and presence in emerging countries, we have a unique perspective on the challenges that our communities face. We aspire to establish a long-term strategic partnership with UNESCO based on our common values of inclusion and equity. As a financial services provider, we saw it as a natural first step to aid developing technological advancements in education, such as AI in education and digital literacy efforts for students and learners in India."
…while the world is divided on AI, one thing is certain: AI is here to stay… AI has made financial inclusion a reality in India, thanks to the advent of ICTs and digital banking systems… Financial education and skill development are critical to increasing people's economic and social well-being, particularly women…
Eric Falt, Director and UNESCO Representative to Bhutan, India, the Maldives, and Sri Lanka, spoke extensively about the significance of artificial intelligence in financial inclusion during his press conference. He stated, "While the world is divided on AI, one thing is certain: AI is here to stay. AI has made financial inclusion a reality in India, thanks to the advent of ICTs and digital banking systems. Financial education and skill development are critical to increasing people's economic and social well-being, particularly women. In light of this, we are delighted to collaborate with Vantage, who shares our commitments.
VANTAGE's collaboration with UNESCO New Delhi brings two organisations together with the purpose of ensuring that no student is left behind. Vantage plans to use its financial and technological capabilities to assist UNESCO's education projects in India in the future by improving the accessibility of teaching and bringing the benefits of education to those who need it the most.
Vantage's strategic partnership with UNESCO is an important step in the company's corporate environmental, social, and governance (ESG) journey, which began in July 2022.
