YouScience Acquires the National Center for College and Career Transitions

T The National Center for College and Career Transitions has been acquired by YouScience, a leading college and career readiness company. NC3T or National Center for College and Career Transitions assists schools and districts in developing career-connected learning strategies, as well as providing schools and educators with the tools needed to efficiently manage career-related activities and work-based learning (WBL) programmes that allow every student to benefit from career-connected learning outside of the classroom.

YouScience's acquisition of NC3T accelerates its strategy to help students succeed in their college and career journeys by identifying their aptitudes and connecting them to the best-fit career and educational pathways.

YouScience will integrate NC3Seamless T's WBL work-based learning platform with YouScience's Discovery aptitude assessment and Precision Exams industry certifications as part of the acquisition to better support districts, schools, and educators in preparing students for college and careers. YouScience will also now provide NC3world-class T's professional development, workshops, and consulting services.

The acquisition, according to YouScience's founder and CEO Edson Barton, "is a natural complement to our mission to empower every student, regardless of race, gender, geography, or environment, to find their best-fit educational and career pathway. Since 2012, NC3T has aided school administrators in assisting students in defining and achieving their personal goals by introducing them to a range of educational and career opportunities and equipping them with the skills necessary to focus on a particular personal vision that is in line with their skills and interests.

Additionally, NC3T supports students in acquiring career navigational skills so they can formulate and carry out actionable plans to realise their aspirations.
