At least five international students were killed in a stampede in central Seoul, South Korea, this weekend. The incident occurred on October 29 in the city's popular nightlife district of Itaewon, where panic broke out during an event, killing at least 154 people.

NIIMBL bioLOGIC, a pilot programme designed to raise awareness and interest in biopharmaceutical manufacturing careers, has been launched by the National Institute for Innovation in Manufacturing Biopharmaceuticals (NIIMBL). Representatives proposed taking cues from policies put forth by nations such as the UK, Australia, Canada, and New Zealand in launching national strategy plans.
