Rice University Launches Campus: It’s First European Hub for Research in Paris

In an effort to expand its global reach, Rice University recently launched its Paris Centre. The Rice University Paris Centre will be the institute’s first European hub for research. According to sources, Rice University’s Paris centre will house student initiatives, independent researchers, and worldwide conferences starting in January 2023.

AICTE: Engineering Colleges to be Converted into Hybrid Learning Centres

Regulators in India have asked AICTE to implement hybrid learning across all levels. Based on their plea, the All India Council for Technical Education has partnered with Tech Avante Garde (TAG) to convert engineering colleges into hybrid learning centres. A source from AICTE said that partner TAG will be helpful in assisting the technical departments to digitally transform and extend their outputs.

US Universities to See Boon in International Students: 65% Increase in Foreign Applicants

A new report by the Institute of International Education has found that admission to US universities has grown to 65%, up from 43% from a year ago. The IIE Spring 2022 Snapshot on International Educational Exchange report cites the support to Ukrainians as a reason for an increase in US admission and it shows that universities are recovering from the drop in international applications during Covid-19.
