New University: Australia’s Swinburne University Launches Second Vietnam Site

Swinburne University in Australia has announced its second site in Vietnam. After launching its first site in Vietnam, Swinburne will launch its second site in the city of Da Nang. Sources say that the plan is to launch the new site in September 2022 in the coastal city. The new university will be set-up in partnership with education provider FPT University.

541 Private PU Colleges See Zero Admissions in Three Years

541 private PU (Pre-University) colleges in Karnataka have reported zero admissions over the last three years, according to the PU Education department. 166 of these are in the Bengaluru district. Among the 541 private PU Colleges that have seen zero admission in Karnataka, 61 are in Bengaluru North, 93 in Bengaluru South, 12 in Bengaluru Rural, and 6 each in Chikkamangaluru, Gadag, Chamarajnagar, Ramanagar, and Kodagu.

Gen Z Students in Vietnam Prefer Face to Face Recruitment Finds INTO Survey

The 2022 INTO Survey found that around 90% of Gen Z students prefer face to face communication when it comes to recruitment. Surveying 1,000 students, the university partnerships company found that participants believed internet research to be the most helpful technique for acquiring information; virtually all of the students also valued personal counsel over online interaction.
