Collegiate Partnerships Open Learning Avenues for Students

Phenix City Schools have partnered with five colleges for the 2022 to 2023 school year to offer a selection of dual enrollment courses. Partner colleges are Chattahoochee Valley Community College, Auburn University, University of Alabama, Troy University, and Alabama State University.

The AIFS and CIEE have partnered together to form a new fund that caters exclusively to the international education sector. Launched by what is believed to be the biggest names in the US education sector, the fund will see $100,000 pumped, over the next three years, in programs aimed at benefiting the global education sector.

IDP & Unibuddy Partner to Launch Student App

Unibuddy Discover, a new buddy to a buddy chat app, was recently launched by IDP and Unibuddy. The collaborative app aims to help those planning to study in the UK, Ireland, US, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand get answers to questions they might have.

India and Germany Agree on Mobility Partnership

India and Germany have agreed a migration and mobility partnership. The decision is likely to enable the “mutual mobility” of students, professionals and research between the two countries. After the announcement, the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, “I am confident that the Comprehensive Migration and Mobility Partnership Agreement between India and Germany will facilitate movement between the two countries.”

Brighton College to Open Campuses in Vietnam

In good news for Vietnamese students, UK Brighton College will establish an international school system in their country. The deal is part of an agreement with Vingroup, a Vietnamese education system operator that runs 39 campuses across the country. Vingroup is a big player in the Vietnam education system, educating some 36,000 students. Its university – VinUni – has trained some 500 students from 11 countries.
